No plans to build senior school

GABORONE - There are no plans to build a senior secondary school at Magotlhwane, says the Minister of Education and Skills Development, Mr Jacob Nkate.
He said students satisfying admission requirements into senior secondary are admitted at Goodhope and Lobatse senior secondary schools.
He added that as of now there are adequate spaces for all those who qualify for form four placement.
Mr Nkate said the output from Boiteko, Chichi Hill and Emang community junior secondary schools produce 159 students which is far too few to justify a senior secondary school in the area.
The MP for Kanye North, Mr Calvin Batsile, had asked the minister whether he would consider a senior secondary school at Magotlhwane village in order to cater for Lekgolobotlo, Kgomokasitwa, Ntlhantlhe, Ranaka and Magotlhwane villages. BOPA
